The structure of elementary school teachers' classroom situation awareness is based on (1) TOKKATSU, which are emphasized due to the impoverishment of experiences with peers, (2) the beliefs and values that all students are protagonists, which are reflected in the attitudes of teachers, and (3) the enhancement of awareness by teachers and a transformation in assessment. The structure also included the teacher's sensitive perspective of the behavior of the children and their peers, the teacher posing challenges with consideration for the children's feelings, and the bridging of the network by the children. In an era that respects diversity, the essence of being a teacher hinges on whether they continuously refine their professional classroom situation awareness, enhancing their sensitivity to concurrently occurring events and demonstrating timely responses in meaningful verbal and non-verbal ways. |
