| 内容記述 | Recent studies have shown that writing instruction not only improves reading and listening skills but also enhances overall language proficiency. However, in large classes, providing high-quality, individualized feedback to all students poses a significant challenge due to time constraints. To address the issue, this study developed an Automated Writing Evaluation (AWE) system tailored for summary-writing tasks. Using natural language processing technologies, the system evaluates summaries across five dimensions: content comprehensiveness, accuracy, structure, clarity, and paraphrasing skills. Key features include content evaluation via TF-IDF vectorization and cosine similarity, paraphrasing assessment using N-gram analysis, and an adaptive feedback mechanism informed by learners’ performance history. Future research will involve empirical testing with students to evaluate the system’s educational effectiveness. This study aims to facilitate effective writing instruction in large classes while improving teacher efficiency. | |||||||||
