| 内容記述 | 絵下山公園は原爆爆心地から12.4kmにある広島市営公園でギフチョウの生息地である。この山頂部に2006年デジタルテレビ放送所の鉄塔および局舎が完成した。ギフチョウの行動研究と並行して,工事の影響を極力抑える努力を試み『ギフチョウの住む自然豊かな都市近郊型公園』の創成を目指している。本稿ではギフチョウの生息条件について総論を試み,保全の具体策と工事前後の飛翔,産卵状況の変化,今後の課題を述べる。ギフチョウは一時的に減少したが最近2,3年,回復しつつある。今後,適切な生息環境と景観の整備により里山のシンボル,ギフチョウの生息環境を保持した都市近郊型公園を目指したい。減少の原因は気候の異常変動と巨大鉄塔出現による飛翔・産卵行動の変化が考えられた。行動の変化を『飛翔パターン全体を認識・記憶する生理メカニズム』の存在とそのトータルな変更ととらえ,適応行動の遺伝という観点から仮説を立てて論じた。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Mt. Ege ("Ege-san" in Japanese; alt. 593 m) is located near Hiroshima City, 12.4 km from the atomic bomb memorial dome. The municipal park at the summit, is a popular Hiroshima sightseeing spot and a habitat of Luehdorfia japonica, a butterfly that is a symbol of the concept of "satoyama" (the area between mountain foothills and flat, arable land). In 2004, construction was begun of a digital TV tower at the summit area. At this time, we reviewed the principle habitat of Luehdorfia with a focus on their flight behaviors. We described successive changes related to individual numbers, ovipositions, and flight behaviors during the construction. The food plant, Asarum hexalobum, was transplanted to the area, and advice was offered to those involved with the construction on how to create and/or maintain a good habitat. Although the population of the butterflies temporarily diminished during the construction, its current status indicates a tendency toward recovery. We are planning to produce a unique natural park, in which Luehdorfia can be observed flying amongst the cherry blossoms in the spring. | |||||||||||||
