| 内容記述 | This paper delineates a major project concerning the development of a nine-language parallel corpus for beginners and intermediate-level learners, named PARC∞. In order to contribute to multilingual education, the project has been developed by a group of foreign language teachers at Hiroshima University since AY2020. This project started with eight languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish, and Russian), but was modified in AY2022 to include Italian and to differentiate Japanese data into two levels: Japanese for native Japanese speakers learning other languages, and Japanese for native speakers of other languages learning Japanese. This paper gives a description of the functional enhancements made to the database for the above purposes, an overview of the function of PARC∞ Learner’s Interface, and an overview of the system for creating teaching materials using the search results of PARC∞. | |||||||||
