| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to design, practice, and verify a lesson that will lead to the foundation of multiplication between linear expressions in the learning of multiplication between mixed fractions in the sixth grade of elementary school, and to obtain suggestions for learning instruction. For this purpose, this paper organizes and examines relevant literature and previous studies, and conceives a lesson that encourages students to relate the four-square area diagram to equations, numbers, and words. The performance of the children before and after the class was evaluated using a rubric. A significant difference was found in the test of the difference in the percentage of children who achieved the pre- and post-assessment criteria, indicating that the conceived lesson was effective in preparing students for the multiplication of linear expressions. | |||||||||||||
