| 内容記述 | 日本語教育の学習が進めば進むほど、学習者は「日本人」とのギャップに悩む。「日本語」に疎外されるのである。ここでいう「日本人」や「日本語」は実態ではなく、「実定化」したイメージである。国語教育では、思ったこと感じたことを発表させる。そのとき、学校制度や教師による「検閲」以前に、学習者自身の「検閲」が行われている。このような、既に分裂している「自己」を統合しようとする企てを拒否することの必要を述べた。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The more one learns Japanese language, the more seriously one must face the problem of what the "Japanese" are. In an extreme case, one may come to be uncertain of one's self. In other words, one is torn between one's own self and the self-image which is constructed through the "standard" language of Japanese language education. Wheras, in Japanese literature education, one is expected to "freely" express what one thinks and feels. There the censor is neither the education system nor teachers but the learner him- or herself. It is necessary to cultivate one's self for oneself and resist the standardized self-image. | |||||||||
