| 内容記述 | In recent years, the profitable farming of laying hen has been over 10,000 hens in minimum, therefore, a lot of small sized farms, i.e. peasant family farms in laying hen farming have been closed down. But, the reason for being of family farms is never ignored. Because, they can produce reliable and safety eggs by elaborate environmental control and without dangerous medicines. Reliable and safety quality of family farms' products which are owing to household labour forces is rated at its value by consumers' co-operatives, and their eggs have become a new local brand, namely "Sakura Tamago". In this paper, I am to clarify the development of family farms in laying hen farming owing to direct marketing with Okayama Consumers' Co-operative, that is to say "Sanchoku". 1. Direct marketing with Okayama Consumers' Co-operative was opened by one family farm of laying hen in 1979, and more farms have joined it gradually, to 42 farms at present. One reason for their jointing is that their farmings have paid by smaller cost of circulation, another is that they have hold direct intercourse with consumers. 2. The sizes of 42 farms consist of more than 800 hens to less than 40,000 hens, but half of all are at the stage of 3,000 to 6,000 hens, i.e. peasant family farms. | |||||||||
