| 内容記述 | 2024年4月19日夜間（21時25分–35分）、広島県東広島市鏡山に位置するガガラ山の麓林縁において、フクロウ（Strix uralensis）の鳴き声を音声記録した。これまで東広島市内におけるフクロウの正式な記録は、2003年から2017年にかけて実施された東広島市教育委員会の分布調査に基づくが、それらの記録はいずれも市街地から離れた農山村地域に限定されており、都市近郊での報告はこれまで確認されていない。本報告は、住宅地や広島大学東広島キャンパスに隣接する都市近郊二次林におけるフクロウの分布および生息地としての利用を記録したものであり、地域の自然史資料蓄積に資する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | On the night of April 19th, 2024 (21:25–21:35), I recorded vocalization of a Ural owl (Strix uralensis) at the foothill edge of Mt. Gagara, located at Kagamiyama, Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Previous official records of the owl within the city are based on distribution surveys conducted for the municipal publication “Birds of Higashihiroshima City”. However, these records are limited to rural areas distant from urban centers, and there have been no prior reports from suburban environments. This report describes the occurrence and potential habitat use of the Ural owl in a secondary forest adjacent to urban residential areas and the Higashihiroshima Campus of Hiroshima University, contributing to the accumulation of local natural history data. |
