| 内容記述 | Despite pedagogical innovations in international education, such as COIL and ICL, learning assessment has received insufficient attention in both research and practice. This paper addresses this gap by first defining assessment as a systematic, continuous process for evidence-based learning improvement. It argues that effective design must start with purpose. The paper then introduces an instructional design approach to realize this process in the classroom, ensuring alignment among learning goals, assessment methods, and instructional strategies. This systematic approach is then applied to intercultural competence, a core learning outcome in international education. The paper demonstrates how to design a coherent assessment plan by logically sequencing objectives, assessment tasks, and instructional activities. | |||||||||
