| 内容記述 | Although ego threat is known to influence workers’ aggressive behavior, little is under-11stood about how support and narcissism shape this relationship. Accordingly, the pre-12sent study classified narcissism into three types—Self-Assertion,Need for Attention and 13 Praise, and Sense of Superiority and Competence—by conceptualizing narcissismas a set 14 of functionally distinct self-regulatory strategies. Under conditions of ego threat,the15 study then examined how perceived organizational and supervisory support affects16workers’ power harassment acrossthese narcissistic types.17 An online survey was conducted with 1,621 Japanese employees. The data were classified18 by narcissistic type, and hierarchical multiple regression analyses were performed sepa-19 rately for each type.20 The results showed that the behavioral consequences of ego threat varied substantially 21 across narcissistic types, and that support did not uniformly suppress powerharassment.22 For the Self-Assertiontype, perceived organizational support was positively associated 23 withIntrusion of Privacy.Forthe Need for Attentionand Praisetype,menand managers 24 tended tochoose Excessive Demands. For the Sense of Superiority and Competence type,25supervisory support reduce dharassment; however, understronge go-threatening con-26ditions, such support paradoxically amplified harassment.27 These findings suggest that support functions as a socially meaningful cue whose inter-28 pretation depends on narcissistic self-regulatory strategies | |||||||||
