| 内容記述 | This study examines the establishment and curricular positioning of “attendance courses” in wide-area correspondence high schools to clarify the status of educational opportunities based on their inherent “non-attendance” model. Despite population decline, correspondence schools̶particularly private wide-area institutions̶have expanded, recruiting students nationwide and offering diverse opportunities. However, the growth of attendance courses raises concerns about financial burdens, curricular ambiguity, and inappropriate practices. Prior studies largely focus on single cases, leaving nationwide trends unclear. By situating attendance courses within the institutional framework of wide-area correspondence education, this study highlights both the quantitative expansion of such schools and its educational implications. |
