| 内容記述 | This study focuses on a 2022 classroom practice in the “Music in Elementary Education” course offered within the teacher training program for elementary education at Hiroshima University, in which a student with hearing impairment and the instructor collaboratively developed the learning content. Individualized activities such as instrumental experiences and improvisational performances were designed based on preliminary discussions between them and in alignment with the student’s musical background, interests, and future aspirations, thereby promoting musical inquiry grounded in “enjoyment.” The authors, who participated from the perspectives of the instructor and learner, reflected on the process through which the learning objectives were developed, and examined the educational signifi cance of this collaborative approach. With reference to the OECD’s concept of co-agency, the pedagogical potential of learning developed jointly by teachers and students is illustrated. Rather than simply accommodating a disability, the collaboration emphasized a shared process of identifying meaningful learning goals. In contrast to Terauchi & Sakai (2024), who focused on musical activities themselves, the current study highlights the process of negotiating and defi ning learning content, thereby expanding the practical perspective on curriculum design. | |||||||||||||
