| 内容記述 | In recent years， children’s inability to view themselves positively has been a challenge in Japan. As a result， schools are now required to help each child recognize their own strengths and potential. The concept of “self-awareness” which is particularly emphasized in elementary school living environment studies， plays an important role in this. Therefore，this study aims to examine the trends and challenges in practical research that promote selfawareness among children in elementary school living environment studies education， and to clarify the background behind these trends and challenges. A scoping review was performed to comprehensively examine the literature and identify unresolved issues requiring further research. A total of 31 papers were qualitatively analyzed. The results revealed four themes regarding the distribution of practical activities by content areas and instructional strategies to promote self-awareness. Future research should focus on the need for instructional strategies that consider the long-term perspective of the entire unit or academic year and content items with fewer practical applications. For example， the characteristics of (1) School and Life， (2) Home and Life， (3) Community and Life， (4) Use of Public Facilities and Public Property， and (9) One’s Own Growth， diff er from other content items. | |||||||||||||||||
