| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of educational studies in teacher training in pre-war Japan and to organize future research issues. Teacher training in pre-war Japan had different systems for primary and secondary teacher training. It also had a very diverse system, with multiple training routes for each license type. This paper reveals that the role of educational studies within this system was also diverse. In order to recognize the diverse roles of educational studies, it is necessary to accumulate individual case studies as well as to set special issues for study. This paper broadly organizes previous research on the role of educational studies in diverse teacher training in pre-war Japan and, while gaining a perspective through a sketch of the general history, presents five issues for future research, as follows. First, the actual situation of education of educational studies in teacher training should be re-examined. Second, to analyze the actual situation of educational research from the perspective of becoming a science, and to consider how this research was applied to teacher training. Third, to examine the role formation process of academic educational studies in relation to educational studies by teachers, rather than seeing them as separate from each other. Fourth, it considers the role of educational studies in the plurality of teacher training in pre-war Japan. Fifth, to examine the role of educational studies in teacher training in pre-war Japan in comparison with its contemporaries in other countries. |
