This study exploratory compared the operation formats of concept maps, particularly reading comprehension, select-and-fill-in-the-blank, and construction. The results, based on subjective evaluation, showed that even when using the same teaching materials, construction was most effective in promoting the quality of thinking and understanding, followed by select-and-fill-in-the-blank and reading comprehension. However, as a learning experience, select-and-fill-in-the-blank and reading comprehension also have learning value due to the ease of operation and easy-to-understand structure required of learners. |
