内容記述 Experiencing a sense of achievement in school music lessons is essential. The sense students derive from these lessons can differ significantly from one individual to another. This study clarified the sense of achievement that students acquire in music lessons and derived suggestions for instructional strategies that facilitate this experience. A total of three surveys were conducted. In Survey I, college music students were asked about the sense of achievement they gained from studying music. A co-occurrence network analysis (CONA) identified three contributing factors: awareness of improvement through lessons, positive evaluation of performance in front of others, and completion of the work. In Survey II, both music and non-music students were asked about the sense of achievement they experienced from music lessons during middle and high school. CONA revealed five factors: experience in playing instruments, group work process, class practice for choral competitions, realization of beautiful sound layers, and positive feedback from teachers. In Survey III, the participants from Survey II were asked about the effectiveness of 30 emotion words in describing their sense of achievement. The average responses indicated that positive and negative emotion words were significantly associated and less correlated with the sense of achievement, respectively. T-tests performed on the means of music and non-music students revealed significant differences regarding the emotion words happiness, emotion, excitement, empathy, and suffering. As crucial strategies for fostering their sense of achievement, this study emphasizes the importance of enhancing public performance opportunities in music classes, encouraging teachers to provide positive feedback to students, and supporting students in overcoming challenges.
