I would like to emphasize that although I must inevitably show examples of bad document management, I do so not to hold on-site school personnel accountable or to punish them. Rather, I do so in order to make the situation on school sites where such handling of documents must occur more understandable to the public. There are few useful opportunities for school personnel to understand and train them in handling of documents, and there is no room in the field to do so in the first place. Unless the structure itself is changed along with a change in consciousness, the future of school documents must be bleak.
