| 内容記述 | The monks who traveled to Song China served as typical examples of cultural exchange and information-sharing envoys during the period when diplomatic relations between Song China and Japan were severed, significantly contributing to Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges. Jôjin was one such monk who traveled in 1072, during the Northern Song Dynasty. He authored the travel diary San Tendai Godaisan-ki, providing detailed accounts of his observations and experiences. This study examines the exchange of books at Guoqing Temple and Chuanfa Temple, set against the historical backdrop of Sino-Japanese relations, and analyzes several works mentioned in Jôjin’s San Tendai Godaisan-ki. Furthermore, it seeks to elucidate one aspect of book exchanges between Japan and Song China during the 11th century, by examining Jôjin’s book exchanges. |
