内容記述 | Economically reasonable way to produce green hydrogen as well as to put renewables as the main power source is achieved by a concept of cutting-off photovoltaic power and dividing it into “high-value power” and “low-value power”. The former means stable and reliable power for purchasers (ie, grid operators), and it mitigates their burden to balance power supply and demand. The latter is fluctuant and uncertain power for purchasers, making their power balancing difficult. The result of simulation using measured data in Japan, cutting-off at 25% of the maximum PV output in the year yielded 50.2% of integrated high-value power among the total output. Meanwhile, it raised the capacity factor of electrolyzer with battery-assisted, then tripled the amount of hydrogen production, and reduced hydrogen production cost to 25JPY/Nm3, which is comparable with the target cost as of 2030 set by Japanese government. | |||||||||
