It is also stipulated that those who come into contact with this “Kegare” must be suspended for a certain period of time. If someone touches the corpse, he must be suspended for 30 days. But if the corpse is partially missing, he must be suspended for 7 days. This is called “Gotaifugu-Kegare”.\nPrior researches have shown that “Gotaifugu-Kegare” have undergone a complex historical development, with no certain common view being organized.\nIn this paper, I examine how the specific phase of “Gotaifugu-Kegare” was determined. ([1] Early 10th century, [2] Early 10th - early 11th century, [3] Early 11th - 12th century)\nIn the mid-10th century, once a concrete image of “Gotaifugu-Kegare” was defined, but then by the early 11th century, there was a discrepancy in perception.
