Picture book authors and specialists in the fields of art, children's literature and Japanese language teaching valued the meaning of the class monitor duties picture book as a story that enables children to simulate the communication of thoughts, intentions and feelings, and to simulate their emotional growth in thinking about other people's feelings and feeling joy in a sense of belonging and solidarity.
