In particular, the study examines the impact of the protracted Russo-Ukrainian war on students' views of peace in light of the dichotomous concepts of 'ideal' and 'reality' regarding the existence of nuclear weapons. Students' expectations for the complete elimination of nuclear weapons decreased, and they tended to focus more on reducing nuclear weapons.
