On the other hand, previous research on interactive texts has shown that they do not always promote understanding and are not appreciated by readers as easy to read. However, since this format has already been widely adopted in introductory books and elementary school textbooks, it is necessary to consider how to make such interactive texts easier to understand. Therefore, in this study, we tried to make the conversation style as natural as possible and used interactive texts with icons to make it easier to identify the speakers. Furthermore, we developed an interactive text that includes not only dialogues that include“ questions\" that have been used in previous research but also dialogues that prompt a“ summary\" and verified the effects.
