A problem with studying networking technologies is that there are few intuitive educational equipment for these studies. In addition, network systems have become an infrastructure of society. It is difficult for students to imagine network systems and technologies because they cannot see how networks work. The new educational equipment of a network router for network construction based on the concepts of physical visualizations and physical direct manipulations has been developed. The equipment can visualize how networks work using a Full Color Serial LED tape. Additionally, the equipment provides function of physical direct manipulation using dials and buttons.
