In general, it was thought the unit learning does not intersect with the literary education in those days. Because, the people who advocated the literary education were criticized the unit learning theory. But, there was a movement tried though them by the following ways: 1) To extend the meaning of language experiences; 2) To regard as the unit by combining the teaching materials.
