Wakan-rouei-syu, an anthology of Japanese and Chinese poetry, is edited by Hujiwaranokintou in the middle periods of the Heian era. His anthology in the Heian era conveys a great influence not only upon the esthetics at that time but also upon the future generations of Japan's literature.
