メガネの着用が対人印象に及ぼす影響を検討した。実験参加者は大学生24名であった。実験計画は, メガネ要因(黒のセルフレーム, 銀のメタルフレーム, サングラス, メガネ着用なし)を独立変数とする1要因4水準の実験参加者内計画であり, 男子学生の上半身を撮影したカラー写真(3タイプのいずれかのメガネを着用, もしくは着用なし)4枚について, 形容詞対による印象の評定を行った。黒のセルフレームのメガネは, 社会的望ましさを高めるが, サングラスは低めることが示された。また, サングラスは活動性を高め, 穏和性を低めることも示された。これらの結果から, メガネの着用が影響を及ぼす対人印象は,
