| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，小学校社会科環境問題学習に科学技術社会論の成果を取り入れる意義を示し，「科学の商業化」に焦点化した授業を開発し，検証を行うことである。「水俣病」を中核教材として，科学技術社会論の成果を踏まえた第5学年単元「水俣病に向き合う」を開発した。小学校社会科環境問題学習に科学技術社会論の成果を取り入れる意義は次の3点である。第1は，学習者が環境問題の背景に存在する「科学の商業化」を認識できることである。第2は，学習者が専門家はいかにトランス・サイエンスな問題としての環境問題に向き合うことができるのかを考えられることである。第3は，学習者が非専門家はトランス・サイエンスな問題としての環境問題にいかに向き合うことができるかについて考えられることである。また，子どものノート記述や授業記録の分析より，上記の3点を獲得する上で第5学年の子どもに有効な単元であることを明らかにした。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to show the significance of incorporating the results of STS (Science, Technology and Society) into elementary school social studies environmental problem learning, and to develop and verify lessons focused on the “commercialization of science." With “Minamata disease" as the core teaching material, we developed a fifth-grade unit, “Facing Minamata Disease," based on the results of STS. The significance of incorporating the results of STS into elementary school social studies environmental problem learning is as follows. The first is that the learner can recognize the “commercialization of science" that exists in the background of environmental issues. Second, learners can think about how experts can face environmental issues as trans-science issues. Third, learners can think about how nonexperts can face environmental issues as trans-science issues. Additionally, the children’s note descriptions and analysis of class records revealed that the unit on “Facing Minamata Disease" is effective for children in Grade 5 in obtaining the above three points. | |||||||||
