This paper reviewed the prevailing situation of education of students with disabilities in mainstream education setting. A number of 62 in-service teachers of 18 mainstream schools in four southern districts participated in this study. This article was based on selfrated questionnaires that were distributed to participant teachers. Also, focus group discussion was organized in each school. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentages. The major findings of the study revealed that in-service teachers had positive attitudes towards inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream classroom.
