Analysis was conducted to clarify the change in the opinions and reasons of students regarding technology assessment and to consider providing an explanation for these opinions and reasons to other students. We conducted a class practice on “production and consumption of native species\" and analyzed the learning process of 72 students divided into 18 groups. Analyzing the changes in their opinions and reasons, we were able to confirm that the students were enabled to evaluate various aspects in the field of technology through the practical teaching methods adopted in the class as indicated in previous research. It was verified that students make decisions while adjusting and integrating their opinions and reasons based on discussion with other students.
