本研究においては,明治期の輸出用実物衣装の観察と考察,及び椎野正兵衛の「ものづくりの精神」への理解という2つを取り入れた衣生活学習を開発し,実践・評価して,普及可能な学習モデルとして提案することを目的とした。方法としては,附属福山高等学校の「家庭基礎」において,「海を渡ったキモノから『染織の日本』を再発見する衣生活学習」の授業実践を行い,評価し,修正して,授業モデルを作成することを計画した。教材としては,アメリカ,イギリスから取り寄せた明治期の着物風ガウン,京都服飾文化研究財団主催のモードのジャポニスム展の図録,ボストン美術館所蔵キモノの展示図録そして3本の映像を使用した。実験授業では実物衣装とこれらの資料を組込んで学習内容を豊かにし,江戸から明治へと続いた,世界に誇るわが国の染織の技やものづくりの精神について発見的に探究させ,伝統と文化を深く理解させるとともに,これを基盤として現代の衣生活についてクリティカル・シンキングさせることをねらった。調査の結果,今回の授業は,日本の衣生活の伝統と文化について,実物衣装を通して海外との関係から再発見させることに成功したことが明らかになった。 |

This study developed the program of Japanese clothing education through the inspection of kimonos exported to the West during the Meiji era, and the understanding of the Shobey's spirit of manufacturing. Shobey was a famous manufacturer and dealer of various silk products, such as ladies' dressing gowns, in the Meiji era. The experimental learning was practiced in the Attached Fukuyama Senior High School, and students expected to rediscover the "Japan of dyeing and weaving" from Kimonos across the sea and the spirit of Shobey. We incorporated these topics and designed rich learning contents. The teacher encouraged students' critical thinking about modern clothes in domestic life. Students appreciated the program and understood the Japanese tradition and clothing culture. We believed that the program would be an excellent learning model for senior high schools throughout Japan. |
