| 内容記述 | In this paper, the authors aimed to clarify the effects of dairy experience on children's sense of respect for life. For this study, the authors focused particularly on the educational effects of experience on a dairy farm. To measure these effects, questionnaires regarding self-esteem, self-efficacy, empathy, and prosocial behavior were carried three times. A worksheet survey where respondents were allowed to express their thoughts freely was conducted 2 times. The results made the following four points clear. First, contact with local dairy farmers and dairy cows is effective in developing children's selfefficacy and self-esteem. Second, contact with local dairy farmers and dairy cows is effective in developing judgment based on respect for life. Third, hands-on activities furthered not only emotional understanding, but also intellectual understanding. Fourth is an awareness of the uniqueness and permanence of life. This led to the children to think about “respect for life". | |||||||||||||
