| 内容記述 | Okanoie Children's Home is an institution for orphans and maltreated children. The present home replaced the original building in 1996 and is characteristic for being divided into units of 7 or 8 children while living in large groups is common in the majority of institutions. The units are connected with a shared kitchen that functions as a center of everyday life and social kitchen that functions as a center of everyday life and social interactions. Though the shared kitchen is not viewed favorably by all staff, evaluations revealed that opportunities of observaion and care by staff of different units were effective. | |||||||||
