The anti-corrosion properties of the films formed in the ethylene-glycol electrolyte solutions ranging from 10 to 40 wt% far exceeded that of the anodic film produced using the HAE method. The film formed under optimal conditions had excellent anti-corrosion properties, which were more than 10-fold greater than those of the HAE anodic films.
