The theoretical construct used was joint labor as proposed by Luis Radford throughout his work. We relied in part on his methodology and in part on a microgenetic approach to analyze a scene of addition involving children and a teacher in a Japanese preschool. The analysis captured children obtaining help from the teacher to reconstruct the meaning of fingers as tools for solving quizzes rather than preserving the meaning through unprompted practice. The analysis also showed that the role of finger gestures was reconstructed in class to solve a conflict between children’s differing solutions to an addition problem.","subitem_description_language":"en"},{"subitem_description":"This research was supported by Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists (18K13162, 18K13175,19K14219), and Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists (Start-up) (19K20947) in Japan.","subitem_description_type":"Other"},{"subitem_description":"The 44th Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (Virtual conference, Hosted by Khon Kaen University, Thailand) Date: July 19-22, 2021","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1617186643794":{"attribute_name":"Publisher","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"PME"},{"subitem_publisher":"Thailand Society of Mathematics Education"}]},"item_1617186702042":{"attribute_name":"Language","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_1617187024783":{"attribute_name":"Page Start","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_start_page":"309"}]},"item_1617187056579":{"attribute_name":"Bibliographic Information","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2021","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicPageEnd":"316","bibliographicPageStart":"309","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"3","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"Proceedings of the 44th Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education"},{"bibliographic_title":"Proceedings of the 44th Conference of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education"}]}]},"item_1617258105262":{"attribute_name":"Resource Type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_1617265215918":{"attribute_name":"Version Type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_1617353299429":{"attribute_name":"Relation","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"ttps://pme44.kku.ac.th","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_1617605131499":{"attribute_name":"File","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2023-03-18"}],"displaytype":"simple","filename":"Proc44thConfIGPME_3_309.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"308.2 KB"}],"mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://hiroshima.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2001030/files/Proc44thConfIGPME_3_309.pdf"},"version_id":"0a385cae-7e77-4592-aef3-acc4765801dc"}]},"item_1732771732025":{"attribute_name":"旧ID","attribute_value":"51119"},"item_1732772494514":{"attribute_name":"備考","attribute_value":"本文PDF差し替え,ページ番号の修正(pp. 380-389→pp. 309-316)(2021年11月2日)"},"item_title":"YOUNG JAPANESE CHILDREN’S SUBJECTIFICATION AND OBJECTIFICATION THROUGH THE LENSE OF JOINT LABOR","item_type_id":"40003","owner":"41","path":["1730444917621"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2023-03-18"},"publish_date":"2023-03-18","publish_status":"0","recid":"2001030","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["YOUNG JAPANESE CHILDREN’S SUBJECTIFICATION AND OBJECTIFICATION THROUGH THE LENSE OF JOINT LABOR"],"weko_creator_id":"41","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2025-02-18T03:09:27.671043+00:00"}
