The primary school teachers felt that the children and their teachers could learn to solve problems and cooperate with their peers as the main actors in classroom life through this picture book of class monitor duties. Picture book authors and specialists in the fields of art, children's literature and Japanese language teaching valued the meaning of the class monitor duties picture book as a story that enables children to simulate the communication of thoughts, intentions and feelings, and to simulate their emotional growth in thinking about other people's feelings and feeling joy in a sense of belonging and solidarity.
