丘の家子どもホーム REVISITING SENDAI CHRISTIAN HOME, OKANOIE CHILDREN'S HOME 石垣, 文 Ishigaki, Aya 石垣 Ishigaki 文 Aya open access 360 520 Okanoie Children's Home is an institution for orphans and maltreated children. The present home replaced the original building in 1996 and is characteristic for being divided into units of 7 or 8 children while living in large groups is common in the majority of institutions. The units are connected with a shared kitchen that functions as a center of everyday life and social kitchen that functions as a center of everyday life and social interactions.
